Thumbprint Cookies

Ingredients:
1 pkg cream cheese, softened
3/4 C butter, softened
1 C sugar
1 C Pecans, finely chopped
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 C flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
Favorite Jam

Directions:
Beat cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Add flour and baking soda. Mix well; add nuts. Cover and refrigerate for 30 min. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Indent centers with your thumb. Bake 10 minutes. Fill each cookie with about 1 tsp of your favorite jam. Continue baking 8-10 min until golden brown. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
